Counselling and psychotherapy in Bath

East Wing began in October 2013 as part of the Buddhist chaplaincy work of Dr Jan Jian Mojsa (a local Westbury resident, psychotherapist and practitioner of Zen Buddhism). We are part of the Upaya family (with Roshi Joan Halifax and Roshi Bernie Glassman). Like the Zen Peacemaker Order, East Wing has a simple intention – to be of service.

Our work continually unfolds. We collect food for the food bank for members of the community who require a hand at difficult times. We offer mindfulness meditation sessions as a resource to both well-being and help at times of anxiety and stress We also offer therapeutic support through our counseling and psychotherapy service.  For those people who are more specifically interested in Buddhism, we have a regular sitting group – The East Wing Sangha – a community of spiritual friends who meet every fortnight on a Sunday afternoon.  Details of all of these (and up and coming events) can be found in our blog section.

We share links with the groups and organisations below…
